Emma Ewel, LMFT

Emma Ewel is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who works with adolescents and adults at A Step Forward. She earned her Master’s in Counseling Psychology from The Wright Institute in Berkeley, California. Before joining A Step Forward, she provided  clinical services at the San Francisco Forensic Institute, the SF LGBT Center, and Kaiser Permanente. Emma specializes in working with young adults and the LGBTQ+ community. She is also a CASOMB (California Sex Offender Management Board) certified associate-level treatment provider.

As part of A Step Forward’s Sexual Harm Prevention program, Emma treats individuals who have committed sexual offenses, and supports them in making meaningful and lasting change.
