Emmanuel (Manny) Ellison

Emmanuel Ellison brings a wealth of experience working with the Latino and Spanish-speaking communities as a translator, health educator, and librarian to his work as a paraprofessional with A Step Forward, Inc. (ASF). He strongly believes in providing support to people who are often misrepresented and underserved in our society. At ASF, Mr. Ellison co-facilitates the Spanish speaking men’s group with a licensed mental health professional and also provides translation support to Spanish-speaking men in treatment. Mr. Ellison’s hobbies include cooking, reading, and listening to music. He is currently in the process of becoming a Peer Support Specialist through the California Department of Health Care Services to further his passion in assisting the undeserved.
