Rick Barclay

Rick Barclay has been a contract paraprofessional with A Step Forward, Inc. (ASF) since 2017. At ASF, he provides group co-facilitating services with licensed therapists and supervised individual support services to men who commit sexual offenses. Mr. Barclay has also been active in ASF’s non-profit affiliate, Community Of Resource & Resolution (CORR), since its inception in 2008, serving as Treasurer of the Board of Directors and co-facilitating the Men’s and Community Support Group meetings. In addition to his work with ASF and CORR, he delivers presentations to graduate level psychology classes on the subject of Sex Offender Treatment. Mr. Barclay earned a Certificate of Achievement in Addiction Studies from Diablo Valley College in Pleasant Hill, California, and is currently in the process of earning his Peer Support Specialist certification through the California Department of Health Care Services.
