Harm to others, harm to oneself, or having been the victim of harm is a common underlying theme of all our specialty programs. We began in 1985 with a primary focus on child sexual abuse and, over the years, our joint experiences and expertise expanded to include other overlapping issues. For instance, child sexual abuse as well as substance abuse can lead to devastation including divorce. Sometimes a sexually abusive parent is also a physically abusive one. Sometimes sexual addiction destroys marriages, and children can be triangulated in the ensuing conflict of separation and divorce. Sometimes despite abuses, people still love each other and want to heal and reconcile safely. We offer expertise to help you work through any issues along the continuum between being hurt and hurting yourself or others.
